At Rare Cocoa, we handcraft every product to order and pack it with care before dispatch. Please read the following policy to understand how shipping and delivery works.
1. Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed only after payment is confirmed via UPI.
- Standard products are prepared and dispatched within 2–3 business days of payment confirmation.
- Custom or Make Your Own orders may take 3–5 business days to prepare before dispatch.
- Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
2. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are applicable on all orders and are not included in the product price.
- Exact shipping cost will be communicated to you on WhatsApp before your order is finalised.
- Charges vary based on your delivery location, parcel weight, and the courier partner available.
3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes
- Within Andhra Pradesh & Telangana: 2–4 business days after dispatch.
- Metro cities (Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc.): 4–6 business days after dispatch.
- Other cities and towns across India: 5–8 business days after dispatch.
These are estimated timeframes. Actual delivery may vary due to courier delays, weather disruptions, or public holidays.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, we will share the courier tracking number and courier partner name on WhatsApp. You can use this to track your delivery in real time on the courier's website.
5. Packaging & Temperature
Chocolate is a temperature-sensitive product. We use insulated packaging to minimise melting risk during transit. However, we are not liable for any melting caused by extreme heat during delivery, particularly in summer months. We recommend storing your parcel in a cool, dry place immediately upon receipt.
6. Failed or Missed Deliveries
- If you are unavailable during delivery, the courier will typically make 1–2 more attempts.
- If all delivery attempts fail due to an incorrect address or unavailability, the order will be returned to us. Re-delivery charges will apply.
- Please ensure your delivery address and contact number are correct when placing your order on WhatsApp.
7. International Shipping
We currently ship within India only. International orders are not available at this time.
